Also sorry to hear about this. Y'know my daughters Karmann Ghia that was stolen two years ago was seen in Mozambique by a guy returning from a fishing trip. Identified it by the colour and the Fuchs wheels. It already had Moz plates on!
I have since placed an ad in the Maputo paper, but still no further leads. Hope your Beetle didnt end up there 'cos I think its unlikely you will get it back!

We're all sorry about this incident -
I've been rushing around following Beetles with the same colour........... suspecting people wanting to urgently sell spares.............
we can but hope. Sometimes they come back.... & I hope Katy does..........

For what it is worth, I saw this Mocambique-registered Ghia at VDB today. Now I know it is not yours, Webster, but I bet your Ghia is running an identical registration number (as well as a duplicate registration disk) in Moz! Use it/don't use it :shock:
