Tyres are conti's same as used on Smart cars, 145x60x15 front 185x65x15 rear. Big $$$ R900 a tyre.
Drive a type 3 and you will not want to drive a beetle again, there is just so much more room, better handling and smooooooth, even when lowered.
For what it's worth, ignorance has no limits ......
