kombi chassis

Post by hitlers revenge »

Hi All

A '76 2L kombi chassis on wheels, including engine and gearbox, should soon be coming my way. Does any body know of a kit car that will fit on this chassis. The kombi's body is to badly rusted to repair.

Unlike the Beetle with its separate body and floorpan, buses are of unitary construction. While you could theoretically cut a bus body off the chassis, you'd have to locate and drill about 1,000 spot welds.
