South African Gearbox Codes

I've done a search on this site for VWSA gearbox identification, but didn't get a definitive answer. I have the following numbers off two gearboxes:

Gearbox 1:
28
113 301 103
J

Gearbox 2:
16
113 301 103

Gearbox 2 comes out of my Beetle 1200 and has the short shafts, so I'm pretty sure it's a 1200 box. I'd like some help identifying gearbox 1.

The number you looking for should be a stamped number as far as I know to correctly identify the box

Should start with SF

Before I go crawl under the car, where would you find this SF number on the gearbox?

But not too sure

I crawled under the car and found the following code underneath the numbers previously shown:

AC 4288796 SF

According to online sources this gearbox is for 1500 and some 1300 from 8/70. Is this correct for South African gearboxes? If so, I have a 1600 single port that I want to put in this Beetle. Will it be fine?
