VWSA / Plascon Paint Codes 1978/9

IMPI found this old Plascon paint file in the back of his cave the other day...he completely forgot about it. Right at the back he found the 1978/9 colour cards, with paint samples and paint codes...quite a find. Refering to the post on the Holy grail of VW paint and upholstery codes, which only goes to 1977, this certainly adds to the holy grail. I personally don't think all the colours were used for Beetles but certainly it applied to all VW at that point in time. Interesting find on this is the mystery code 40 which is Topaz Metallic Gold (see post on my SP) as well as Code 47 which was Copper Metallic, the colour of the last Beetle built in South Africa.
