I bought this bus quite sometime ago
There were about 5 owners before me
I found very thick pieces of body puty
And decided to remove All paint to metal.

Found some panels were Pop riveted together and was Glad I decided to remove all paint.

Front section was a 1958 split bus,
Center piece a Brazillia bus and rear part was from a Baywindow bus
Gutter linen did not line up at all

After Bay rear was cut off I was 120mm short of space for Engine room so made a insert panel to lengthen the BusImageImage

After sorting the Rear it was time for getting the Gutter lines to line up
Custom made panels were welded in

I also used Flat plate and put them through the Roller to get basic shape for the roof with ends bent ImageImage

Thanks Guys

Thanks for the Feedback and Compliments

When we started this Project we really did not Realize the Magnitude of the Project.

It was from the Beginning the Plan to Remove all Paint from the Bus
But when we started it was Quite a Surprise that some of the Panels were Porivited together

The biggest headache was the Gutter lines to line up
with having a Few Panel beaters visiting and looking at the Project and giving advice for Short cuts
I decided to remoce the Whole Brazillia Roof and get the U Gutter pannels made up as
that Also Added strength to the Struckture
and we also Added a 10x10mm Square Tubing on top welded to the Gutter Channel inside for the roof
Support and a 12mm x3mm Flat bar at a Angle to accomodate the Roof skinn inside that we
Also staggerd Welding to the Roof for Additional Strength

Will Post a Few More Pics as time allow

Who know what the maximum Pictures are allowed to be uploaded by Tappa Talk per month

So the Complete body of the bus was Spray6with a layer of

NS1 Anti rust converter
As a base coat
Then after that a full coat of Black Etch 1 Pack primer was painted ImageImageImageImageImage
