CSP sells their versions of the linkages. There are photos and instructions on their website that might be useful.

After the fitment of my new linkage I could proceed to the next job...I assume with the installation of the old Weber linkage there was not enough clearance and the rain catcher was removed. I sourced a replacement one, gave it a slap of paint and fitted it recently. The previous owner also painted the inside of the engine lid with stone chip...I got most of it off but have to continue on another day as my fingernails hurt ImageImageImage. One of the drain pipes are missing on the rain catcher. It I am busy sourcing a replacement set.

Heaven knows why the PO did that. It seems like there was a period when stone chip was in fashion.
