Guys need help can any one tell me what 1300 engine was fitted to my Beetle 1972 did you get 1300 in single and twin ports and which one it should have.

If original, 72 would be 1300 twinport. SFAB engine code. My 72 has that and it's original to the car

If you have a paded dash is should be twin port, steel dash, single port.

My original 1971 1300 twin port does not have a padded dash.
