Key cutting..

Post by Buged »

Hey gang..

Anyone still cutting keys for our cars in alberton area?
Spoke to a couple, but they don't keep stock or haven't got at the moment... Yaaaaaaaaaaaawn..

My little guys party a little too much in my waaaaay from finished project and broke the key off in the ignition!

I've managed to get the tip out with my wife tweezers thank goodness, so have full sample but no supply.

Thanks in advance.
Rick

try the old school shoe makers that are usually next to a Checkers or P&P - well they used to be in the 90's ;-)
Otherwise Autostyle has various blanks

Sharp oom Zeeeee!
You right late 80's early 90's had a all in one just about everywhere...
Gosh.. I'm 40 this year and I still remember those shops were predominantly kitted blue and yellow... Still remember those big buffer machines etc..

Is the correct term an "s" type casting or something like that for the key?

hehe sorry for the hijack, but my son 16 is banned from my garage when I am not there. he mixes up liquids that are not supposed to be mixed, I might come home one day and find a huge crater where my house used to be.
and also leaves it in a mess.....
