Hi Terry,I think I would definitely take it. If there is one thing I absolutely despise, it is that checkered plate that is used.
As soon as I have the bus, I will be in contact to arrange pickup from you! Thanks!

Finally… finally… an update.
It has been many-many moons.
But I finally got a fire lit under this guy and now things have started happening. I understand lockdown was tough and 2021 was tougher-er… but now we can get going on this.

Doors off and interior stripped for body prep.
First, all the rust spots get attention.
Then the windows will come out for the rest.

Sanding and more sanding… and fixing rust…
That’s what’s up.

Interior is out. All the rust is being treated and fixed. Approach is “bottom-up”. Start with the worst rust and moving to easier rust…

Windows are left in for the moment… the longer they can stay in the car, the less the chance becomes of them breaking while around…

That is the next step though.

Good progress! It looks like you’re having fun in that workshop.

Thank you!
It is a lot of fun… but it’s not my fun. I am leaving it to the people that can.

So… some keen eyed viewers might have picked up on the backing/support for the front seats have been removed? No-no… don’t scroll back to look now!  :twak:

The idea is to install 2 Captain’s chairs in the front. Something similar to this:

Great Idea, makes the bus more user friendly, specially when you have a family.
