Hi
Has taken 2 years to close this deal and there is still a long way to go. Plan is to store it till the festive season ,start sourcing parts now and kicking off the restoration in the new year.
There is no interior trim but thankfull the glass is all there and much of the other bits too.
I have a complete running 1600 motor that I can use in the meantime till a period correct 1200 can be sourced and sorted.
What is missing is the seats ,trim, tailights.( As you see a previous owner was attempting a botch conversion. ) the B pillar stays.

Congratulations on the purchase, and best of luck with the restoration. Correct parts are hard to find, and expensive when you do. There is a '59 steering wheel for sale at the moment, if you are looking for one...

Thanks guys
I'm only to aware of the availability and pricing of spares. I do have a complete original and sports steering wheel for my ghia . 30 odd years of hoarding also sees me in good stead with parts including spare doors ,boot and bonnets. The recent acquisition of 2 1958 combi's ( Isabella  ) and a Dkw means that I have some shared Hella and Bosch bits too.
