I had a small incident today that reminded me how quickly things happen.

I wont go into details but to cut a long story short, my glasses saved me from loosing an eye.
See the picture below.

Just a reminder to all out there... use ear and eye protection as often as you can, you cant replace an eye or a deaf ear.

I'M WITH YOU TONY.
I HAVE HAD TO HAVE A PIECE OF METAL CUT OUT OF MY EYE BEFORE.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL. USE YOUR SAFETY SPECS WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

while grinding I had my Glasses on, and all went well.

Put grinder down, and it slipped of table, hit the floor switched it self on, jumped up and nearly amputated my leg,

so in this case, the glasses did not help much as the leg needed 32 stitches to get it back together.

but shows how quick an incident can happen, even if planed for.

Glade you OK.
