As the motor when to the motor guru with carbs and rods, I have been wanting to check the carb balance.

So I took out my Coke bottles and did the test at Ideal and at speed and she was perfect balanced.

Here is the high tech equipment I use to set twin carbs.

Don't laugh .......... :oops:

.... but it works.

Where did you run the pipes to?
If you not running it to the vacuum side of the butterfly, you arent getting anything of value.

You either need to measure the flow rate (above the butterfly) or the vacuum (below the butterfly). Above the butterfly with a hose, does neither.

I test it on the vacuum ports as well as above the butterfly

at ideal and at speed.

if all points are balanced then the carb is balanced.

thats why the small tube comes out of the black tube with the peg.

Thats good enough for me. :D
