Westy roof bed

After buying Impis red westy earlier this year I have focused on making it a reliable family friendly camping vehicle.
Vdubtech assisted with the axle boots and timing / distributor issue and got it running better.
I then wanted to tidy the interior up and fit seat belts for the kids and a continental roof bed. This was an option we didn't get in SA, and only in a few westy variants. Mike and Fred from Retro Culture did most of the work on the project and I am super happy with the result.

Looks very good. Can you send me their contact details? Are they based in Gauteng?

Hi Brian - I'd be very keen to purchase a roof bed like yours for my Westy if your brother is interested in making them for resale. Please can you send me his contact details...

It's a 71. That bed configuration was an option on the UK Westfalia Continental (ca 1973). It has been discussed on thesamba.com forums and someone came up with plans. It's a tight fit, but Fred seems to have done a great job reproducing it.
