My '72 Westfalia
At last my '72 Westy is ready for the road, with just a few minor niggles before he's fully sorted. This one has been a long haul, requiring engine swaps and visits to no fewer than FOUR workshops over a period of 6 months, most of whom did half a job...
Fully original Westy interior, with added cupboard for chest fridge/freezer, battery pack and crockery, etc, fitted with a 2L Golf conversion which purrs along...

Re: My '72 Westfalia
Mine has the narrow stretcher which will give some kid an uncomfortable sleep I need to investigate putting a double bed up there, but I'll have to make it up myself as I've seen very few factory beds for the early bay. The late bay with the rear opening roof has a nice big bed...

Nice Westy Derek.
I must say I miss my 69 Westy, but I am negotiating with a gent for a rat panel van and I might just convert to a "camper"

Re: My '72 Westfalia
I saw plans for one on the net - not too complicated to do from the looks of it. I must get to it as well, as I now have two Westy's.
