about 52 000 were used throughout the IIWW from the african front (there is this famous pic of Gen.Rommel sitting in one) to the russian front.
the kuebelwagen was germany's answer to the american jeep but compared unfavourable to it..

Thanks Pine nice pic. For those of you who want to stiffin a Beetle front suspention install motor bike shocks with a coil spring , works very nice and fits perfectly without any mods and it rides realy soft.
The Kubel will be going for its roadworthy on friday keep all your fingers crossed.

I dunno but wil find out, got a few types from a friend and fitted the best one(dunno much of bikes) Kubel will be going to the test on friday. I already got a offer to swop kubel for a 356 porche replica ,nah i think ill hang on a little longer.
