Steering damper and tie rod ends

fitted new Steering damper and tie rod ends .The left hand treads fits to the inner right tie rod . had to figure out first .
what a difference it makes .Did measure the old lengths first of the tie rod adjustment ,then did them to the new ones .got the alignment 90% though. the left side is still a bit out when the steering is in the straight position .New king pin and link pins were fitted previously .Car handles really well now .
When all the parts were off just moved the steering box around and noticed a play on the shaft when moved up and down steering box was dry on the outside didn't see any leaks .Think i should check the oil in it EP90 should be fine. when moved left and right seems to be fine .
