Job to do with VW's

Post by Junior »

Whats up guys and gals. I must say it has been ages since I last posted on here :( I had my fair share on :bn: over the last year, and a half and being at school and trying to work for cash so that I could work on your car is a fairly tricky job... anyway I'm back :D

To cut it short, I'm looking for a job. I know this is not "job finder SA" so if anyone is unhappy with this post, pm me and I will delete it. I, as anyone who recognizes me could have guessed, I love VW's and have found a recent interest in computer coding/ web design (over the last 2 or 3 months). If anyone hears or knows of anything that involves either, I will be forever in your debt (+ a case of beer). I will move wherever I need to, and do the dirtiest of all dirty jobs as long as there is some kind of possibility of promotion, and it involves cars or computers and I can earn enough $$$ to pay rent

If you know of any other places ie. oil rig work, I am open to any and all suggestions.

Ps. I'm 19 have a matric with maths and Sci etc. Reason I'm not studying is because of plans changing at the last minute, and honestly I'm tried of not working...

Cheers
Richard

Howzit Richard - yes your absence has been noticed

Sorry to hear about your :bn: during the year, but don't despair - your situation WILL change, your attitude and approach to life is positive and you are still young - a MAJOR advantage.
And don't delete or edit your post, I hope someone can help - are you still in the Eastern Cape - willing to relocate, etc, etc, etc ?

Cheers

Sambas in South Africa are good for only 2 things: showing off and sunburn.

Welcome back, wondered what happened to you.

Hope all else is fine, with you and will have a look out if there is something I can find for you

Maybe give Splitbusaholic a call, think he is full up with guys, but you never know, being VW mad may help.

Later.

Thanks Herman, everything is good on my side and I hope its the same for you? I have been helped by a fellow forum member but I'm not going to jinx it until I have sorted everything out.

I thought making this post was a dumb idea, but if all goes well it might be the best thing Iv done in a while  This forum is the best, I have no idea what I was doing not staying in contact... but I think you guys will be hearing a lot from me again over the next while :D

So it looks like Junior will be up this way in a few weeks time to try out in my shop - hopefully if his things work out he can also take the one spot I still have on the course I am running 12-14 July. Nothing like diving in boots and all!
Looking forward to meeting you Richard!

Cheers Splitfan!
While many people say they would love to do it, I am VERY selective of who I take on. Even then I have been through quite a few guys who didn't cut it for one reason or another. Not trying to be a dick or anything, but the reality is most people simply aren't cut out for the type of work I do.
It is as much (maybe more) about attitude as aptitude. And understanding that it isn't like you see on TV....

But given what I have seen of what Richard has done with limited resources, I'm looking forward to seeing how it all works out.
