My cars Raoel aka Highroofconnection.com
Hi There,
I always like to see how the other aircooled familymembers in the world are living there passion and create there dreamcar. Nice to see that there is also a VW community in SA
We own at the time 2 aircooled rides, a 56 oval beetle(since 1999) and a 71 Crossover T2 High Roof panelvan (sice 2011).
The beetle is an unwelded car, the T2 NOT.. not even close..
I build the beetle just the way i wanted it with extras from all over the world. Australian Flashtrim, SA Rostyles, USA fenderskirts, German 2x 28pci Express Hannover carbset, Australian sleepingchair seatrecliners - folding gearstick - solid metall sunvicer, Dutch Brink Towbar, some unknown Racks a.s.o.
The T2 is very handy for when the girl wants to come to visit aircooled events Have some more plans for this ride but first i need to robb a bank, just kidding
Well I will not be a very active member but i will watch the great rides of you and enjoying it!
Greetings from the cold Netherlands!

Re: Introducing myself
Bedankt voor jullie welkomstberichten erg leuk
Thanks for your warm welcome greetings
And now I am reading your car postings again. Really cool to see the rides and that the SA Beetle for example had the old 5x205 Pattern also in the 70´s. always cool to learn something new about the aircooled wagens in other production countries

Re: Introducing myself
Dude you got to be a real bad boy/girl to get sanctioned on this site, ask me I know but it sounds like there was a technical problem, give eben/TonyZ/Pine a shout and they can sort it out for you.
This is a very friendly site and we always help people from all around the world. You do need to have a bit of a thick skin sometimes but its all good.
Hang in there.....
