Thats an interesting setup with the fan cowl. How does the fan belt run? it looks like it could be a serpentine belt... Any more info on it?

Looks to be a cooling fan style set up from a 935........

probably a custom unit for a 4 cylinder that someone has fabbed up.

Corvair engines used a similar fan and belt setup .

Looks like the Riechert-style type 4 upright fan conversion. The Germans used these since around the 70's on vw-powered military equipment. (Corvair-style belt).

The racing Porsches's fans had a different drive system, (90 deg bevel drive below the fan.)
