Want to start a build thread of my '63 that I bought today.I bought it as a abandoned project from the PO

good luck, the pan looks like a fair amount of work.

those braces in the front are mostly used in offroading circles to stiffen the chassis. Works well for the road too.

Was in the shop for a hour or two

this is what I've started with

removed the beam and wire wheeled the front part of the pan

also removed the front beam reinforcements -permanently

Also straightend the "pan rails" a bit

Ill be getting beam adjusters this week and my welder on Saturday so I can start with all the rust repairs

Good luck dude, just recently finished my '62 , few more tweaks to go.... It never ends

Cool look u going for, have a set of those rims in a box if unwanted , new and unused .....

went for stock ext and int except for 1 pc windows, and then tree a whole heap of stuff into the motor, basically every thing u can think of into a 1776 cc motor. Had some fun with fine tuning and had to add extra sump, pump and cooler plus filter system .

Once the bug bites it bites hard , this is car number 5 I think :D :D :D
