The best place to take your air cooled VW in Pretoria

Post by Pine »

With this post I want to 'hellopeter' Dirk Munting from FIM Dienste
(VW Sport Club member) for the excellent work he has done on the brakes of my buggy this week!

Dirk's VW workshop is at 17 Skinner Rd, Pretoria and his contact number is 082 964 1662.

Thanks a million Dirk for the excellent service, fast but thorough workmanship, professionalism and very reasonable pricing

Yes I have to say Dirk is excellent. His prices are very reasonable and he fixed my cars pulley which was giving a lot of uphill.

Dirk is the best and I dont take my car anywhere else. He is really a great guy. Ive lost count how many times he had to tow my car in (the old ex one) from Onderstepoort area.

In this era of slovenly service (I'm currently battling with Neotel and LetMeRepair  ), it's really great that we still have honest people to do work on our cars :)

Dirk came and did the wiring on my Fastback at my house yesterday. What a friendly guy with some very cool ACVW-related stories

Dirk sat down with his wires and connectors and got everything working, as it's supposed to be, without looking at a wiring diagram and without looking lost and confused at any point.

Despite my wiring being in a real mess and me having a column from another VW that was transplanted into the fasty, he sorted everything out properly.

I happily paid the amount that he asked me, with a smile, because I saw that everything works :D

I have no hesitation in recommending Dirk to do work on your ACVW.
