Fleetlines

Came across these 2 Fleetlines last week, they were only a few kilometres away from my house.

They have both been resprayed (very poorly) and are not yet runners. We contacted the owner but only appeared to be interested in exporting these two. He mentioned R45 000 for the pick-up and R65 000 for the bus   if someone will take them away locally as is now, but he was on quite a mission about exporting.

I can provide a contact number if anyone is interested to try and reason with this man, but beware, these are real “putty specials” and have been badly butchered.

Maybe they will give SA buses a bad name and then the overseas clients won't want them anymore? That's one way to reduce exports, I guess...

This has already happened. Plenty of UK buyers have bought "restored" SA buses only to discover that they've bought mechanically worn out bodge jobs.

This guy is probably only keen to export because he knows there'll be no comebacks. :finger4u:
