I've only got these one's on the pc. Somewhere i've got a disc with lots of pics taken during the build. It took me a year and 10 month's to build from scratch.

From those Photo's I must say thats a very nice build. Zetec engine? And a reasonably quick build. did you get the "kit" from Brad?

Must say, it actually looks very nice with 17's on it. mine had 13's and now i'm on 15's.

IRS or live axel? Pan hard or mumford if live axel?

Thanks James, its actualy a complete home build. I did the chassis and everything myself between 2004 and 2006. Its powered by a 2.0 pinto and the rest of a sierra drive train. I bought a sierra as donor and that helped a lot to keep the cost down. I even made my own moulds for the body. I found the cd with the pics, so i will post a couple of the build

Now that is impressive! and very nice looking body pieces! I'm going to be trying to make up light weight cycle fenders and i really hope I can make them look as nice as yours. Have you met a few of the other 7 owners in CT?

Thanks hitler, and thats a good question! Thing is here's no club around cape town and most of them are race cars so i don't take it out very often

Cycle wings are easy enough, i think the brackets holding them are more work to get right. This were my first to glassfibre moulding.I got a few very usefull tips from uncle John Woodly who are doing the Woodly Austin Healey replica's and stay just down the road from me

That was an amazing build. More than i would ever take on. very nice.

Would you have a close up of your cycle fender mountings? they so neat and tucked away, Just what is needed for racing.

You dont rub on the rear fenders under hard cornering?

I don't have pics right now but will take a couple and post for you.
Never had problems with wheels rubbing at the back, the rears run inside the fenders

I took a couple of pics of the cycle wings, and i'll try to explain ( in my best english) what i did.





I used 20mm pipe with a 1,6mm wall to make the brackets and a hickie to do the bending. I pressed the pipe in the vice to get a oval shape and some clearance on top of the wheel and where the wing lay on the bracket.
The pipes were then welded to a triangular plate, i replaced the 3 bolts holding the backing plate with much longer ones and bolt the bracket to that. I used a nut on the inside and outside of the plate wich allows me to set the alignment of the wing over the wheel. My brackets sit very close to the wheel in some places theres only about 5mm or less clearance between the tyre and brackets.
