Nice - But early porsches are too much of a clone on T1 VW's, so might as well have the real McCoy and have a beetle. ( investment value notwithstanding)
BUT when they added another 2 jugs to the motor, they became a horse of a different colour ! I LOVE 911's.

can't disagree more. I drove an original 356A and it feels/ drives nothing like an early model type 1. Maybe they share a lot of the same parts, but it's how it's all packaged that makes all the diffs. They out-handle, out-accelerate, out-brake and just about out everything else.
That was a nice 356 C at the show. I love my Beetle I love my Porsche 356 and I love my Porsche 911 Each of them have a special place in my heart and they all offer something that makes my heart pump faster Even if it is at 60 mph .
I love all Porkers. I if had the loot and enough space I would own one of every type there ever was.
Decide where you stand ... then stand there!
