Managed to get a local metal wizard by the name of Danny great price and comes in by taxi with the rest of my staff
Any other cape locals near Grabouw - try him out

Good stuff going on there Warwick, that roof replacement was a brave undertaking - Sweetpea is looking great

when u weld a new roof on how do u keep it from warping ?

The welding is going to be a challenge - the thinking is as such - drilling out the old welds should give a good "bath " for the join- welds will be clamped and work in sections not a continous seam - this should help with the not warping -
This was the reason I pulled the whole roof and not just fill the 'sunroof area - glad I did this cause some rust back right and front left under the skin -

Valentines day today - so a perfect day to 'marry' the red roof with the rest of the bus
Couple of G clamps - brazing rods and some gas to heat up the situation - should be great happyness later
