Okay well I've contacted the owner and got the reply that is sentimental or some story so he will not sell the bus. So that's the bad news, then now today I came across this thing hiders in the back of some secret place. Any way well I'm now faced with the choice of maybe selling my 75 beetle to make space and have some money for this new project. This leaves me with the other thought of I must still finish my 64 beetle that needs some major attention so I can actually use the beauty.
Any way I could not get great pictures of the thing because it's hidden behind a mountain of motors

I have checked the vin numbers and it was not updated with the new system way back when so I can register it as a scrap build. Everything is there its just got a smashed front windscreen 2 or 3 little dents mainly from the pile of motors that have bumped it a few times but it is very easily fixable. As for rust the whole back load bed (I forgot to mention its a low light single cab) is still
In tacked, but there is a small rust hole on the right of the engine compartment and at the base of the right hand side apron. Other than that not much other major rust as far as I could see which is very surprising as its been standing out side for over 5 years!!! The motor is there but I don't know the full story as to why it was parked there in the first place. You can turn the fly wheel with your hand so I would hope that it's fixable. The picturs make it look more rusted thames it really is and where it is rusted it is in a flat area witch would make it easier to cut out and fix the pannels. I'm now waiting on a price from the owner and I will see where I go from there
I will post pics on Sunday as soon as I'm with a computer with good connection.
