So here she is,

one man job so far,

- stripped interior
- took out engine and gearbox
- took out fuel tank and all associatd cables
- busy trying to get the rear axles out so I can have a rolling chassis (proving problematic)
- manually trying to get the paint off (she has 6 layers on) with heat gun and scraper- been advised that bead blasting is a no go as it warps the metal?

to do: (still :( )

- redo bodywork - anyone know any decent panel beaters that still know how to work with lead and metal?
- repaint
- re-do engine and gearbox (looking at doing a 2ltr conversion on the engine and will need Bugger's help on the gearbox)
- disk brake conversion on all 4 wheels and 20" drop
- interior

will update as I progress, work is slow as I only have time when 16 month old daughter lets me

You doing it the right way, this way will save you 1000's of Rands, when painting.

Sounds Good, but as the old saying goes, .....

Need photos......

So now we'll never hear whether the 20" drop was intentional or a typo...
