karmann ghia
URGENT - A friends vintage VW karmaan ghia was stolen outside her flat in Vredehoek last night. It is a cream colour with red and white upholstery and registration number - CA 159536. Please keep a look out for it and let Iain Milne know if you see anything.Tzaneen Tara Corke:

I'm in Algeria and Tony is bobbing around in the Indian Ocean somewhere, in the northern hemisphere. You (Andreas) should let HR (Dave) know that you've seen it. His number is 083 695 0242. Hopefully that way HR can contact the owner and they can get the cops out there before it's gone...

If you still in town in Jan, I'd be happy to meet up. Wir konnen auch in Deutsche unterhalten if you wish - sorry, never learned to read or write German, but talking is pretty good.

Nice talking to you. I have informed the police about this and hope the case can be solved.
How cool is it that we have a German visitor in Cape Town who has a few Lowlight KG's and then sees one, takes pictures of it and then finds our forum on the net, only to find he took pictures of a stolen one while out and about in Sea Point.
Come on SA Police lets solve this together

Yes, that's the Brazilian KG. They have the front of the T14 prototype that didn't make is and it's a fast back. They look very cool. As for the Frid... well... too fine!

One of the people who reported the Ghia stolen has just made friends with me on Face Book. Have sent a message for them to phone me ASAP.
