Hi guys, Desmond from Jhb. Recently bought a Baywindow bus. A bit of a rust bucket, currently fitting a 1600 engine and will hopefully start it up this week.

Hi everyone!
I’m new to the group. My name is Jack and I’m based in South Yorkshire, England. I’ve recently just bought an imported SA T2 Devon which I am currently in the process of registering here in the UK. I may need some help at some point in decoding the M-Plate, ive checked the thread for this but the pdf files are no longer available. I hope everyone is safe and well and making good progress with their air cooled machines 👌🏻

Hi,
My wife and I have inherited a 1966 karmann ghia in reasonable shape, it has been under cover in her fathers workshop for 30 years in pieces. We are beginning to restore the car and we are not very knowledgeable but are keen to learn, I have joined this forum for advice and to learn about air cooled vw’s and hopefully to find parts. Thanks in advance.

Hi All.I am the Owner of SPAR Plattekloof.Since my Student years,I've owned the following VW's: '66 1300 Beetle, '73 1600L, '77 1600SP, '81 1300 Golf GL, '85 Jumbo Jetta CSL, '03 Chico 1300, '06 City 1,4 I, '13 T5 Kombi, '16 T6

My latest VW is a '94 1600 Buggy in need of some TLC. I've joined the Club to learn more and to fine tune my acquired aircooled maintenance skills as a poor Student in the '80's.

Welcome and have fun here

If you search you will find tons of info, or ask and the experts will assist I am sure.

But bring photos to your treads and you will have more assistance that way.
