since im stealing all your info on fleetys and perving on all your buses thought id contribute a bit.

here is my mid 55 11 window split.she was a cubby house for some kids in a fairly dry bit of australia, the owners had started pulling it apart for a 60's model bus anyway this is were it sat until a mate found it and kept it under a tarp for a few years till i managed to pry it from his hands for a hefty price.

i cleaned all the house paint of from the inside with oven cleaner

got it up on the rotissory and welded in new floor at the front and rear, battry tray, all the outrigers,both inner and drivers outer sill,window sections, bottom doglegs and a bunch of patches here and there

rewired the whole thing from scratch

put in all new rubbers, got some windows, welded some adjusters to my front beam, fitted a bettle box and strait axle kit some smaller tyres recod a 1600 twin port put in 3 seats and got me some rego...althought it wasnt that easy and quick
my first brakedown was running out of fuel on the second day 3 moths later and had no problems at all.very happy

As Aus is so dry, should not rust more........
