I came across this add for a Mini GT and it has 10" Rostyle rims! Has anyone seen these before? They are seriously cute!

Quite a lot of the Minis came out std with them - it was standard on the GTS in the early 80's. As with the Beetle I think it was a South Africa option only (not 100% certain). Some of the Austin Apaches also used the rostyles.

Rostlye rims were not VW specific... and were made by the British firm of Rubery Owen, believe it or not.
They made wheels for amongst others:
Leyland Mini
Austin Mini
Austin Apache
Austin Marina
VW Beetle
MG Midgets
Rovers
Ford Cortina 1600E
Ford Capris
And Range Rovers until 1985/6
I cant think of any more..

Original 1275 GTS minis' came out with 12 inch mags to compensate for the discbrakes' calipers.
