I spotted these ACVWs in Parys last week:

Thats a cool DC, nice and straight and rust free, looks like original paint as well Was the owner around

The DC has been repainted close to original colour. We chatted to the owner; she has a small supermarket. She's not into VWs; the DC is just a donkey to her.

Not abandoned. It's either WIP after a front-end collision, or that's the way they're rolling it.
