Odd Brazlia panel in Zim

Post by syncromad »

hi guys

just back from 3 weeks in Zim on holiday in my t3 syncro. saw this odd brazilia panel van in a small town we went through. it is a panel with corner windows, Type 214? assemble in Salisbury (now Harare). i have seen brazilia panels before but never with corner windows, and they are factory fitted not add ons. tried to fins the owner. also saw a few sad fleetlines and a 72 crossover.

I like the windows :D but the door handle thing is just weird ! Would be interested to find out more about this bus and why it is the way it is.

Yes, they assembled some Brazilian buses in Zim. Interesting configuration.

hi Chris

Not a walk through, just very odd, had a lot of rust on the windscreen and sills, rear deck had been cut out as well.

Hi

was looking at the pics of the cream brazilia panel that was for sale, it also has no cargo door handles or even a hole for one, maybe this is a brazilia panelvan trait,
