Saw it at the Heritage day in Silverton. Not sure what mechanicals it has, but I think it is running a V8 Lexus with the auto box. It is so quiet that when he drove past me, I could hardly hear it idle. :shock:
Sounds brilliant when he revs it though. :hangloose:

I love the attention to detail, but personally I feel it was sacrilege to use an oval (if it really is one) for that purpose. He obviously spent a lot of money on the car, but I would have rather restored the oval, since you are spending a big amount of money in any case. My 2c.

Lovely vehicle nonetheless.
The only substitute for cubic inches are more cubic inches.

Its got a complete mitshubishi colt rodeo chassis with motor and all. the oval was just a shell and in pretty bad shape when he got it.

Lot's of work on that one & done nicely, rear window & vents are oval rest of the metal is not.
For what it's worth, ignorance has no limits ......
