That looks like a clean Beetle
So tell me why is it still in his yard and not in yours
I would be there basically every week asking, begging, pleading until he would sell it out of frustration
It's not how fast you get there it's how you look when you arrive.

My beetle (scrappy) has the same door handles, seats, door panels but just a different color the only difference (except the rust and bad :bn: ) is the beading on the bonnet, it has the badge at the bottom I think that its is pretty much the same year  Parts haha  just joking

I suppose no-one here knows it, but I've been suffering from a weird diagnosed case of visioaudiomania all my life - in other words I think in pictures and sounds. And no, Ritalin does NOT work for it :x

Right now, I've got Living next door to Alice playing on REPEAT through my mind, thanks to you, Mg12werr.. :?

But I've got a solution - everyone else reading this will hear Living next door to Alice in their minds for at least the next 24 hours, as soon as I snap my fingers..

Image
Now, repeat after me

Oh, I don't know why she's leaving,
Or where she's gonna go,
I guess she's got her reasons,
But I just don't want to know,
'Cos for twenty-four years
I've been living next door to Alice.
Twenty-four years just waiting for a chance,
To tell her how I feel, and maybe get a second glance,
Now I gotta get used to not living next door to Alice...

(Oh yes - NICE Beetle, by the way! :hangloose: )

Nice tidy little bug - think it been looked after as the tyre are still up and it doesnt have ten years for dust and dirt on it. Would be better in my garage though! :D

RESCUE IT! Most of us dream of an opportunity like that. I'd go round there and firstly fess up to being a vdub peeping-tom  . Then, profess your ineffable passion for these cars by rambling on and on about complex statistics regarding their "changes through the years". Finally drop to you knees and weep ever so slightly pleading for the chance to grant the car the the TLC you feel it truly deserves. He'll probably slam the door in you face but at least you'll know you've given it all you've got. :|

Next, we'll organize a bigass crane!
