I realize these are 'top-end' buggies. So I will have to do the next best thing....The Suebrew bug that Tom Bishop was building is a good example. He (Tom) modified the body, with such ease, and it looked good! Pity he abandoned that project... :(

I am thinking that in 2011, my crippling financial Cr@p will be at an end, and I can look for a new 'toy' Maybe a used Beamish body/chassis or even a running buggy. Then I will use my legendary fibreglass canoe repair skills to the fore and change the body to my design... :hangloose:

That's an awesome-looking buggy!! :hangloose:

My plan is to use similar Merc 5*112 PCD wheels on my Fleetline with the modified Bay suspension.

I was talking to a guy the other day with a full blown offroad racing 2 seater rail that new costs about R1.2 million. I asked him about his gbox and asked if it was a mendeola.... He laughed and said he cant afford those boxes. For his application, the boxes start at R200K and only go upwards

My "balls to the wall" Buggered 'box was fitted to my Buggy recently. It is by far the smoothest, least amount of strain, 'box I've had from the 6 'boxes I've managed to destroy in the last couple of years. Well worth the money.
