My 1975 Split Screen Vw Single Cab

Post by rakesh »

Hey Guys

I'm still new to this aircooled forum.

I own a 1975 Split Screen Vw Single Cab Van. I still need some spares and it would be great if I could source some spares locally. Its still a good few months from being completed.

Still figuring out how to upload pictures on here, but here is the link to the album:

Cheers

Rakesh

Nice looking SC rakesh. Splitfan's correct, your bus is a Fleetline (Brazilian), built in 1975.

The 67 you've seen on the VIN plate does not refer to the year, although no one knows what it does mean. The actual VIN is the bottom number on the plate, and yours will read 2056 *** ***.

Hey Farhaad
You are right and wrong, Fleetlines are found in single cab,15 window busses and Panelvans But again Fig's the guy to ask , and im sure he wrote a post about it somewhere on here .Best way to spot a fleetline is the pressed emblem on the nose of the bus.
