JB's '67 Bug

Post by jb_7605 »

Here are some pics of my new old car. I am slowly fixing up everthing. Paint and interior will be last. But she is still ok for a while I think.

Why and what do you whant to change on a perfect original car ? I'll change the pedal rubbers back to standard. Nice 'peco' sticker in the back window!...........

WOW! Your car looks amazing! I'd get everything mechanically sound and roll it as it is. Perhaps a polish of the paintwork and away you go :D :hangloose:

Thanks. :D Paint has got some rust spots and scratches. I will stay with the original color though. Things inside to do are new wiper handles, seat resto (seats are ok, but not great), new radio (this one does not work), and of course yes, the pedal rubbers.

The silver trim on the outside is scratched quite a bit, but those are luxuries. I need to replace window rubbers though. Side mirror is rusted and needs to be replaced. Bumbers are scratched and need slight repair.

I will keep it original, but fix the broken bits. But I will post all of those in Projects when I start.

Agree. But only later. First need to sort out some mechanical stuff.
