Thank you all. This is a very cool car, all original, no accident damage apart from a few light bumps, never resprayed apart from a few patches so mostly original paint, complete original interior, no radio ever! Apart from some rust on body and all the rubber, seals and gaskets and petrol rubber hoses that needs replacing due to being perished, this one stays as is
So now 4 Bugs in the yard. The project car is not this one, its the '67. And "rust bucket" (it really is one and no papers) is a spares donor for the project. Also a late Vartiant LHD in the yard, but not a runner. Also a Bike, a modern Jaguar and a Landy Defender sharing the parking.
Hoping to pick up the '63 by Friday from Madbones.

Now this is becoming a project as well..... a maintenance project.....
Clutch stopped working, seems that the shaft and or bushes came adrift, maybe it broke. It has moved about 20mm out of position where it enters the bellhousing. Got to drop the motor and see what is going on
