Old Shite

Post by OldRed »

Allow me to introduce the newest aquisition - Old Shite

Rescued from a dusty barn here in the Northwest after the previous owner dismantled it and then lost interest. It's a ' 60 model that's very complete except for a few cosmetic bits.

The plan is to do most of the work myself ( a guy's gotta learn these skills someday ) as the budget will be really tight. Most of the project money is heading to my '59 at the moment. It's at a friend's place currently as I still need to get rid of the '66 donor body I bought and stripped last year.

Any comments welcome.

I must say, I'm seriously considering to roll it as a rat, mostly due to financial constraints :rat:

I'm a bit concerned about the traffic cops in my area though - not very open-minded folks.

Congrats on a great find. From the pic the rust looks mostly like surface rust.
Good luck with the resto.

No worries guys, the :rat: will only be there until I get it to look like the long term plan:

The long term plan should swing into action once the '59 is done.
