Josh

Post by Jozi »

This is my ride named Josh manufactured in 1967. Josh is in still work in progress of which I'm trying to restore to somewhat original state. Josh had a 1300 engine that died a natural death. I replaced it with a 1600 twin port Engine with a Alternator. Thus the 1600 sticker at the back. The original engine will go under reconstructive surgery once moolas are available(I must confess I like the 1600 for it's power). My plan is to give him two personalities. The stock look with the wheels that you currently see on the pictures, original seats(upholster still busy with) and original window rubbers with chrome/alu (still to be sourced from calooker). The other one will be a street look with the the current seats, replica RS4 17" wheels and sports steering wheel (preferably original SP). More pictures as we go.Thanks to calooker for most of the replacement parts.

Your idea sounds like what I plan with Rosie! Lovely Bug.
