It is two degrees outside and I am on my way to IMPI's house to start off with my project. Only a real ACVW fan will do something like that... :jumping:

We will be removing the body from the chassis for a complete chassis overall. I will keep you posted.

PS: Thanks IMPI!!!!

OK so after today this is what is left of my baby...
Image

It is interesting to see that the seal that IMPI put in place between the chassis and the body back in 1993 was still 100% intact.
Image

Terrible rust on the floorpans...almost Flintstone.
Image

What was even more interesting to see is how aggressive the rust was at the area where fibreglass have been added...see the passenger side of the floor pan. Below is a photo of the piece of fibreglass that was added on the floorpan.

Eish...Rome wasn't built in one day...but you can tear a perfectly good Puma apart in a day

Herbie, have I ever told you that your Puma 8) is COOL? :hangloose:

In fact, so COOL that on an average North-West winter morning, it might even FREEZE Image

Uhm.... Chris, in this thread the coldness of the Wild North West is quite emphasised, and yet you still dare to ask??

Herewith an update on my baby....

I went to IMPI's crib saturday passed and found the poor guy with only one light shining...the other one was on parks :) Hope you recover soon my friend.

So this is the thing...when I entered IMPI's garage I found the most amazing site. A small magical creature by the name of Pine had worked his butt of to get my chassis in one piece. Pine....you ROCK man! :o :o :o . Your blood truly is filled with ACVW fanatica. You are now officially my hero...Spiderman, you suck man.

Seriously, Pine and IMPI thanks a million for your hard work. Check out my schweeeeet chassis.
