Re: Rotary Turbo in Bug& Puma
Ye for such a small motor they pack a pretty mean Punch
Installed the fuel surge tank and pump far away from the Turbo side with propper Fuel hoses with easy removable fittings
The compressor wheel of the Turbo has increased by 9mm ID and that will give the Motor alot more boost at lower RPM and less Turbo Lag
The motor is back in where it belong so now I can start with the wiring. Are not fitting the Old Microtech but a lond new stock with new wiring harness the harnass that came out of the bug was a bit to tackky and the owner and I decided to fit new Equipment
The pic below show the old harnass after all the Insulation tape was removed and all the joints was revealed.also showing the new ECU and wiring that is getting installed

Yes bring die bokke
Spend the whole of yesterday wiring the Microtech to the motor and fixing all the back light wiring which was a real mess but getting there will post some pics later today with the alty and some other goedies on
First need to concentrate on some Transmissions today

@ Bugger
Do you think that the rotary route is better than building a strong flat4?
As far as power for money, as well as reliability is concerned?
