Bugger's dashboard

Finally Bugger's dashboard for the sunroof squareback is finished.

It is covered in leather with french stitching in blue to draw the colour scheme of the body into the interior.

We decided to use leather for the sake of appearance as well as the tactile sensation. On this piece the leather is a bitch to work with as it cannot stretch like vinyl does.

The speaker area was filled in with a special flexible filler with some fibreglass reinforcement

Special templates had to be made for the instrument binnacles. (A couple of cows were sacrificed in the process)

This is the end result

We will supply a special leather muti to protect the dash from damage and to ensure a long service life

Wow! That looks so much nicer than the stock dash

Can you offer this service in other materials as well?

It all depends what you have in mind, Blitz, but we can talk.

Chris, if you can supply me with a base, we can "maak 'n plan"

Vader, first we have to make a template off the base, then do a rough fit, then a final trial and then the final fit. The problem is this; the first time I can explain to the "keeper of the wrath of the gods" that is just business to fondle the squishy bits of your seatcover, but by the third time she would have seen through my ploy and then the damage of Huricane Katrina would look like the vloermoer of a naughty 4 year old compared to what she would do to me. So in the interest of my longevity, I must decline :)

Right,

What's your charge? I definately want the dash for my notch done.

Although Vynl would suit my just fine, I don't have an issue with leather.

A dash like bugger's can be done in two weeks (Now that the development of templates is done)

In leather with the stitching in a colour of your choice - R4000
In vinyl with similar stitching - R3300
