I would like to sincerely thank all
those who organised the amazing
Volksworld Show 2005 at Sandown
Park. I was over from South Africa,
visiting my cousin and her husband,
who were soon to have a baby, in
Wimbledon.
The show was the best I had
ever gone to and, unfortunately,
South Africa can never compete
with the high level of show cars,
organisation, technical expertise and
all-round entertainment. The four
hours that my cousin’s husband and
I spent there were about fi ve hours
too little.
Boy did the DJ try hard to get
everyone out of the show grounds so
that he could go and have a cold one.
It’s a good indication of a successful
show if no one wants to leave, I’d say.
