What are these from....year?

Can someone help which Beetle these are from...what year?
I might be wrong,but it doesn't look VW.
Looks more like those lights o the roof of a truck.

If they are indeed off a Beetle, I would suspect that they are originally from an American Spec car from about 1972 to about 1975.
American traffic legislation of the time required all vehicles to be equiped with side marker lights that needed to be on when the park lights were on.
Normally the front side markers were amber and the ones in the rear were red.

They are from a beetle. I had a disscussion only on Wednesday about those. I will update on Monday as to what beetle they came off.

Just sold on Ebay for over R1,000! even with the chrome pitted and a crack in one lens!
