New Old Spares

One of the member's hunt for a petrol pump had me going through my list of "connections"
I came across a guy that bought the complete stock of Goodies Motor Spares in Pretoria when they closed shop. This company specialised in spares for old cars (before 1970). The stock was moved to his plot near Krugersdorp
If you have a sample of what you are looking for, he is available over weekends to try and help you out.
To respect his privacy, PM me for his contact details, and I will pass on his phone number.

I always wondered what happened to that stuff after Goodies went belly-up.
They used to be in Bosman Street, next to American music, then they built that new building in Church street, and I think that is where it all went wrong.

There is a lot of stuff for many makes and models - but not that much ACVW stuff left.
I took a bakkie load of ACVW stuff to Ferdie Radel when he redid my K/Ghia motor and also sold quite a lot at the Piston Ring, Ferdie and Air Cooled Day swop meets.
As for ACVW I still have quite a lot of engine bearings, rings, some valves, valve springs, oil pumps, cables, ignition items, 6 Volt bits, some suspension bits, some mountings, a few used hubcaps, rim or 2 .... No body parts.

Sorry Hubcap if I opened a can of worms.
Maybe you can help.
I am looking for a set of balljoints (left an right) as well as a 4 hole rim for my 67.

I have some hucaps - both painted and chrome. All are used and will need some attention - will try and take a pic when I get a chance.
Hubcap clips definitely not.
4 hole rim definitely not.
I have heaps of balljoints - mostly out of their packaging - if I have a decent pic or sample in my grubby paw, I can check.

Hi ,Juliet mike victor victor,
I have a 67 bug as well - I also have a lot of stuff for them, and it includes a set of genuine VW ball joints in their boxes. I probably wont want to sell them, but once my move is over and I have a chance I can let u have the part no's and you can check if VW still have any stock
Dont laugh
I got a set of float bowl gaskets for SP kadron carbs from Lindsay Sakers a while ago!
Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick on a dark night i would say
