Thanks blitz.
I cant see the 2,4,6 pics, but here goes.
No 1 pretty std except for the pan, front and rear susp being cleaned and sprayed.
No 3 the worst cut of all, saw this effect in a recent vw mag and I am hoping it will work ok if not off she comes.
No 5 The pan is sprayed with chemical resistant paint, mat on the inside and gloss underneath.
No 7 And there you have it a DIY cut and weld lowering job.

I hope you are going to weld that beam all the way round otherwise it will break as well as sweat grease.
Make sure you only weld a little at a time and make some sort of jig / frame & clamps to keep things straight, as it is going to pull skew with the heat.

Interior will be very sparswith no door pannels, no rear seat, front seat will be stripped bare and the srprings sprayed red with thick foam or rubber.

For wheels I intend using the old 5 wide patern 14" rims in front and 15" at the back painted red (of coarse) with the silver hubcaps all round

Are you intending puting it through roadworthy. If so you need interior, 2 front seats without holes ( cant have them bare ). I'm not sure of the panels.
All window mechanisms, door locks and door handels must be operational. And all four rims must be the same size.
