I'm thinking I want a new toy. Were the commercial vans as popular over here as they were elsewhere? Browsing the rides often featured on here, i've yet to see any commercial van, so it's got me thinking that they aren't exactly easy to find

Re: anyone have?
By commercial, do you mean a pick-up like the one in the ad, or are you referring to all commercial model buses, ie, panelvans and pick-ups and also kombis?
Commercial buses tended to be worked to death so are less common today than when they were new. I think you'll find there are a few pick-ups and panelvans on this site.
I own a 67 double cab, and this panel:

yup, anything from the 50's/60's. I love the pickup, it just screams minimalist and perfect. reason i've asked is that i've yet to see any on SA's roads, which made me think they weren't readily available.
I'm tempted to sell my '59 beetle to get one, really tempted

Re: anyone have?
That Sc belongs to a friend of mine here in PE.Jade.It's a 57.BAB did the suspension, and Jade did all the body work himself. It's running a 1600 engine and a straight axle conversion which BAB also did,and yes it does have semaphores.
The T3(Notch) was mine.
